          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 62532
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Currency format will not change back to
                    general format
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.1.2 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description: Cells formatted as currency (gbp) will not change back to
general number format.

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....select cells
2. ....choose format/cells or apple+1
3. ....change number format to general and 2 decimal places

Current behavior:
When format is changed, the numbers in the cells keep the pound sign in front
of the numbers. I did notice that if a new number is entered into the cell the
new number does not have a pound sign. However after changing the format from
general to currency then back to general the new number has a pound sign.

Expected behavior:
The pound sign should disappear when the format is changed to general.
Not sure if this bug was in previous versions.

Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.0.1.2 release
