I'm curious to understand how that would affect the local installed version of LO on my MBP. LO shouldn't be checking the internet except to check the version and if an update is available when it starts. I do get a notice when an update is available. But, I don't think it should be going to the internet every time I open a file. But my privacy thoughts aside, version 7.2 didn't have this issue. My server and network have had no changes except for the typical virus updates and automated blocking of potential intruders.
