Priority: medium
Bug ID: 62550
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Update of index causes crash
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: NEW
Version: 3.6.5.2 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem:
If you want to update the page index in the beginning of a document and right
click on the index (with the purpose of choose "update" from the pop-up menu)
in the document Libre Office writer sometimes crash hard and you need to
restart and
rover. You can see a spinning wheel instead of the mouse pointer on the screen
for a second just after right click.... Then "boom"! Sometimes it works though.
Maybe it depends on where on the index you try to right click....
Work around:
Update index from the menu instead of right click on the index in the document
This problem is both in 3.6.5.2 stable and 4.0.1.2 release
