Bug ID: 150532
Summary: CALC window appearing "off-screen" seems to be SKIA
related
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.4.2 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I have dual monitors and a calc file shortcut in my WIN10 Start-up folder.
The file is normally used on the second monitor which has a lower resolution
than the primary screen.
It opens about 1cm off the top right corner of the screen thus obscuring the
scroll bar and ribbon.
It does not overflow onto the primary screen and there is no "grabpoint" with
which to manoeuvre it into position. All I can do is drag the bottom edge of
the screen down a couple of pixels at which point it jumps to synchronise with
the top right corner.
Another symptom is that even though it is now visible, all the popups that
would normally ascend - filter panes etc., will popoff the screen and again
become inoperable for the upper margins of that pane.
The CALC shortcut has four companions - other software - which behave as
anticipated.
Turning of SKIA appears to resolve the issue
Steps to Reproduce:
Attach a second lower resolution monitor
Create a shortcut for a CALC file and place it in the start-up folder alongside
some companions for other software
use CALC on the second screen
Save and Close the file
Close all active programmes
Shut down.
Restart.
I also have autostart at 05:30 in the BIOS which is inactive at weekends but
the issue persists - until I disable SKIA
Actual Results:
Display error
Expected Results:
No display error
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
