Description:
1) In the comparison of the top taskbar between Impress and Writer, some
functions are available on Writer but not on Impress such as Font styles,
highlighting text and text resizing, which would be beneficial in terms of
document creation.
2) It needs CTA to display all slides for users to quickly review.
Actual Results:
Users have an option to set up the taskbar they prefer, although it doesn't
help simplify the situation. (e.g.) View → User Interface → Select your
preferred user interface

Additional Info:
I designed mockups for Impress Presentation just to explain the idea and
improvements that I pointed out above.
Impress offers a lot of features despite being free open source, however, after
reviewing some product feedback I found that users felt confused and
discouraged with un-friendly UI.
The current features may need to be rearranged/eliminated and focus on each
function to work better other than having them overloaded.
