            Bug ID: 150744
Summary: Adapt row height takes too long
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.0.0 alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Similar to bug 124098; but on 7.5

Can we make optimal False by default? I'm seeing this problem.

In addition, if I select the entire sheet, then drag a cell edge to resize them
all, it's fast; but if I double-click the cell edge, it takes a long time too.
While it may not produce an exact match of the previous setting, dragging an
edge is fast...

Maybe Calc should remember the previous cell height and use that when
double-clicked after a resize since it's likely the user intends to restore the
previous size... If they double-click a second time, that's likely a clue they
want the automated/slow process... At least, this would avoid the long delay;
and introduce only a minor time saving minor extra step... Or, ask if the slow
process is really wanted... Time is of the essence. HTH
