--- Comment #6 from Paul <[email protected]> --- Thanks for looking at this, guys (and gals). I know you know this... but remember, this is a MAC and the decompression step appears to be a "pre" step to starting Word/Libre Office to open the document. I am a Software Developer, retired from Dell after 25 years. I consider my troubleshooting and debugging skills to be above average to excellent (but I have been retired for 2 years). I just spent over an hour "trying" to create the issue, but everything worked fine. I even started with a copy of the document (from a Time Machine backup, a half hour earlier) that preceded the corruption. NO DICE! The issue has happened twice. In both cases, I was not doing anything unusual, basically this DOCX is just a bunch of notes about a new RC Transmitter I bought. The issue happened when I edited the document, followed by save and exit. Then, I could not open the document, with Word or Libre Office, as the decompression step would fail, before the app was started. Because I don't not know what set of actions cause the issue, I have not been able to recreate the issue, when actually trying to create it. To work around the issue, I just changed to DOC files. I will play some more. I will try to use various menu functionality to see if there is anything there. Paul Maia -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
