I read the previous forty-two comments but if several development directions have been mentioned, none seems to have been picked: some contributors suggested to add an option in expert mode, others to reserve this image format to odf 1.3 extended. I can't find any bug reports about the future of this format in LibreOffice either, maybe this topic has been covered elsewhere? Hence the simple and sincere question from a non-developer: is there a technical issue or a negative decision that prevent a complete support?
