A slideshow illustrating the problem. The text in the ellipse to the left does
not move, while the text in the ellipse to the right (which is always visible)
moves correctly
Problem description:
If you use an animation to reveal text contained in a shape, and then add an
animation to move the shape, then the text will not move along with the parent
shape.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Add an ellipse
2. Double click ellipse to add text
3. Click outside shape
4. Double-click on text
5. Click Tasks - >Custom animation -> Modify Effect -> Add -> Entrance ->
Appear
6. Click ellipse, choose Tasks - >Custom animation -> Modify Effect -> Add ->
Motion Paths -> Polygon and place a motion path
7. Start presentation. Click once to see text, click again to see ellipse move
Current behavior:
Ellipse moves, contained text stays in same place
Expected behavior:
Ellipse moves, contained text moves along with the ellipse
Operating System: Ubuntu
