Bug ID: 150798
Summary: User Name and date illegible in Writer Comment
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.2.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
The light-green font color for the username and date that populates
automatically in a Comment is illegible against the yellow background of the
note. While the text color and size of the Comment itself may be changed, it
does not appear that the user can change the text style for the auto-populated
username and date.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a comment.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The color of the font for the auto-populated username and date at the bottom of
the Comment make the username and date illegible against the yellow background
of the Comment.
Expected Results:
Expect all the auto-populated text in a Comment to be legible. It is important
that I know who made the comment, but the color of the comment makes it near
impossible to read the username and date.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
If the changing the color of the username and date is going to remain
inaccessible to the Writer user, then make the color something that will show
up against the yellow background of the Comment. Black is preferable, as there
really is no need to distinguish by color the username and date from the
Comment text. Or make the color of the username and date a darker shade of
green. Or make the background color of the Comment a paler shade of yellow.
