DOC handles this, so it can be done My question is how does MS Word handle this? With MS Word 2003, it looks identical to LO. The .docx has less spacing than the .doc. So import/layout looks fine. My guess is there is a compat layout setting that has to act differently for DOCX. So export would somehow have to detect that and make adjustments. Tricky.
