Three additional things that might be helpful to know:

1. This is what I meant by setting the text to subscript:

2. This bug only happens when setting ALL characters in the gray Drop Caps area
to subscript. If the Drop Caps length is 3 characters, all 3 characters need to
be set to Superscript/Subscript.

3. However, even if only single characters are set to Super-/Subscript, the
display still is weird. For example, superscript makes characters shrink, but
it also centers them in the gray area instead of placing it noticeably higher
than normal superscript.
