Bug ID: 151200
Summary: LibreOffice freezes when opening the SAVE dialog in a
Text Document - Data loss!
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.2.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When saving a document for the first time in LibreOffice 7.3.2.2 (updated) on
Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.6, the app hangs if I either try to NAME the file or
try to select another document format such as word. The only way I can
successfully save is to accept the default UNTITLED # file name and ODT format.
If I move the cursor, the app is frozen and the document is lost. Document
recover on the last one rendered a blank document.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open LibreOffice
2.Select NEW TEXT DOCUMENT
3.Click the SAVE button or CMD-S
4.Attempt to name the file or select a different file format
Actual Results:
The app hangs and must be closed via FORCE QUIT
Expected Results:
I should be able to name the document and/or select a different format
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
