If you click into height (0,00cm) and back to width nothing will be changed. But if you change height to 0,1cm with will be changed immediately to 0cm. So: Back to LO 6.4 won't be a solution. Disabling "keep ratio" for width or height 0 cm would be the best, because (theoretical) a line should have a thickness of 0 cm.
