I confirm this bug.
Tried with Yandex.Disk https webdav on Ubuntu 12.04 and LibreOffice 4.0.1.
When attempting to save LO fires a warning about "domain names not matching,
possible data interception attempt" (I'm on Russian localization and not sure
about correct translation), offering to see Certificate detail, Continue or
Stop connection.
When Continue is selected, LO asks to enter username/password to webdav server
account.
Upon entering connection is interrupted "error saving document" and follwing
"I/O error when saving document".
