Priority: medium
Bug ID: 62909
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Context Pop-Up Window Location
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.1.2 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
selecting any option that spawns a pop-up context menu on a dual-monitor
workstation can sometimes open the menu on the other monitor, depending on the
last window location of a closed spreadsheet
Steps to reproduce:
** must have 2 or more monitors **
1. open a spreadsheet with a date column on monitor 1
2. select the entire column
3. right-click
4. select "Format Cells"
5. make a formatting selection and close pop-up
6. move spreadsheet to monitor 2
7. repeat step 3
Current behavior:
uses the last window location of the calc program where it was last closed to
calculate the position for the new pop-up window
Expected behavior:
should use the current window position of the active calc program to calculate
the position of the new pop-up window
Operating System: All
Version: 4.0.1.2 release
