Bug ID: 151731
Summary: Crash when saving file after manual word wrap in cell
(ODS file)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.6.2 release
Hardware: ARM
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Bug: I repeatedly got a crash when trying to save a ODS file after wrapping a
cell's text manually via hitting "command + return" or "shift + return". In
both cases the cell's text is wrapped correctly, but document saving doesn't
work and will not be completed. Libre Office jumps into document restore
windows, but this doesn't work. Hence I have to kill the Libre Office processes
and the changes since last saving are lost. Automatic text wrapping works fine,
i.e. this causes no crash.
OS: macOS 12.6.
Libre Office: 7.3.6.2
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type some text a cell of a spreadsheet
2. Hit "command + return" key or "shift + return" key to wrap the cell's text
3. Save the ODS file
Actual Results:
Saving leads to crash. Restore of file doesn't work. Last changes are lost.
Sometimes Libre Office processes have to be killed to continue with work. This
is quite annoying.
Expected Results:
Saving should simply work as expected. So last changes should be saved.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: Yes
