Jorg <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #4 from Jorg <[email protected]> --- The top level menu (e.g. in Writer "File", "Home", "Insert", "Layout", "References" etc.) is weirdly positioned. See attachment "TabbedToolbar.png". It's nothing like the preview as in attachment "Select Your Preferred User Interface.png" probably due to the standard way that macOS handles tabs. Due to the misalignment of icons on the tabbed toolbar (Bug 133214), those tabs look particularly out of place. When the window is resized to a point where the top level menu gets cut off ("ResizedWindow.png") the menu entries to the right can't be selected anymore. This results in undesired interruptions in workflows as I have resize the window only to access some of those menu items. Could the tab bar be at least left aligned so that when the window is resized in its width all the menu entries can be selected? Word aligns the menu left too and puts a double chevron to its right if there's not enough space to place the remaining menu items (see "MSWord Tabbed Menu.png") I'd argue if the tabs even have to be all of the same width, saving further space if they're only as wide as the text on the menu entry. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
