          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 62972
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Cannot upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04.2
          Severity: major
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: (See in Summary)
         Component: Libreoffice
           Product: LibreOffice

I am running Ubuntu 12.04.2 as a live system.

I have the LibreOffice repo installed. From sources.list:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu precise main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu precise main

When I try to upgrade LibreOffice from the version included by default in
Ubuntu 12.04.2 to whatever the latest version in the repo is as of 31 March
2013, the upgrade fails and LibreOffice Writer crashes if I attempt to run it.
(This has been happening for about 2 weeks now.) Here is what terminal gives me
when I attempt to 'sudo apt-get upgrade':

/var/cache/apt/archives/libreoffice-common_1%3a4.0.2~rc1-0ubuntu1~precise2_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The OS GUI then gives me a "System problem detected" error.

I do not have any LibreOffice extensions involved; this is from a brand new
install of Ubuntu each time (live system). Thanks!
