No need to reopen in MS Office. Simplest steps to reproduce for me:

1) Open Attachment 183457
2) See that the line thickness of the shape is 1 pt (or 0.04 cm) in context
menu > Line
4) Save as PPTX
5) File > Reload

Actual results: line thickness is now 2 pt (or 0.07 cm)
Saving as ODP does not change the line thickness.
