odt covering error, hrdware and software used.
Summary: Auto spellcheck has not been working since before the installation of
7.4.x; in fact, it has not been working since updating from 6.4.x. Moreover, it
has not worked on 2 different machines: this new Mac Mini M1 and the iMac
purchased in 2015.
With Auto Spell Checking selected even when I make a spelling mistake that
mistake is not highlighted, nor are any suggestions prompted. I must manually
select Tools > Spelling to do a spell check. See Evidence below.
