            Bug ID: 152062
Summary: Noto Serif Ahom font does not implement correctly in
                    Libre Office
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.2.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have recently tested the Noto Serif Ahom font, which is not implementing
correctly in Libre office. There are six issues in which the font is not
working correctly:

i) The Ahom Vowel SIGN I (U+11722) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
ii) The Ahom Vowel SIGN I (U+11722) is β€˜crashing into’ the final consonant
to its left
iii) The Ahom Vowel SIGN II (U+11723) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
iv) The Ahom Vowel SIGN AI (U+11729) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
v) The Ahom Vowel SIGN AW (U+11727) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
vi) The β€˜wrap’, AHOM CONSONANT SIGN MEDIAL RA (U+1171E) is not kerned
correctly with the consonants and is too far to the left and is crashing into
the right side of the consonant

Note that when I copy a piece of text typed in Libre Office into Facebook using
Firefox, all of the six features implement correctly.

Steps to Reproduce:
I am unsure what to write here, but I can provide documentation of the problem

Actual Results:
First of all I typed a set of text into Libre Office. This was the text

π‘œ€π‘œ’π‘œƒπ‘œ« π‘œπ‘œ’π‘œƒπ‘œ« π‘œ‚π‘œ’π‘œƒπ‘œ« π‘œƒπ‘œ’π‘œƒπ‘œ« π‘œ„π‘œ’π‘œƒπ‘œ« π‘œ†π‘œ’π‘œƒπ‘œ«

Expected Results:
The font does not implement the font correctly as in these six features.

i) The Ahom Vowel SIGN I (U+11722) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
ii) The Ahom Vowel SIGN I (U+11722) is β€˜crashing into’ the final consonant
to its left
iii) The Ahom Vowel SIGN II (U+11723) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
iv) The Ahom Vowel SIGN AI (U+11729) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
v) The Ahom Vowel SIGN AW (U+11727) is shifted too far to the right from
the initial consonant
vi) The β€˜wrap’, AHOM CONSONANT SIGN MEDIAL RA (U+1171E) is not kerned
correctly with the consonants and is crashing into the right side of the
consonant

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
If I could have attached a .pdf I would be able to show how the font appears
when correctly implemented, as for example using Facebook or the Converter
created by Craig Cornelius at converter is
http://languagetools-153419.appspot.com/aho/convertUI/

In these places, the same string of text that I put into the 'Actual Results'
box implements correctly, without the six problems listed above.
