You must opt for =SUM(A1:A2;A5:A6;A9:A10) (or not usually with =SUM(A1:A2~A4:A5~A7:A8)) =A1:A2;A5:A6;A9:A10 will give Err:509 Operator missing. Just try in B1 with =A1:A2 and you will get only the A1 value. And with the same formula in B2 you will get only the A2 value.
