Bug ID: 152137
Summary: Internet Options->Email: add a notice that empty means
"autodetect"
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
On non-Windows, there is an Email section under Internet Options [1].
The dialog needs a notice that the server may be left empty, in which case it
will attempt to detect client automatically, to not create an impression that
the field is required. There is a code [2] that uses xdg-email, etc. to be
smart in finding mail client :)
Possibly documentation (help, Getting Started Guide [3]) should mention that as
well.
