            Bug ID: 152167
Summary: Base: Feature Missing?!? Autonumber field which is
                    automatically filled out
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Base: Feature Missing?!? Autonumber field which is automatically filled out
I know from experience with MS Access Datrabase - They have an Automatically
Generated and Filled out Number field, but for some odd reason Libreoffice
Base, does not have this feature.
Is there any possibility of having LibreOffice Base added this particular
feature.
A Primary key field which is automatically filled out with the RecordNumber
when a new record is being added?!? So when the table is empty the count is 0
and the moment you start entering data in the first editable field the record
number (updated with +1) is automatically inserted in the AutoCount field - The
AutoCount field should not be enabled for Value entry, as it is just the count
of the records in the table.

Steps to Reproduce:
Feature is simply missing in Base

Actual Results:
AutoCount field is simply missing in Base

Expected Results:
Record 1: 1
Record 2: 2
Simply counting upwards automatically counting the number of records in the
table

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I do a frequent update of Libreoffice, as I use it on daily basis, however as I
am used to use databases as well and have been using MS Access Database (which
by the way does not need Java jre installed, is there possibly a workaround on
that?)

The AutoCount field should be an Integer/LongInt number (Size wise).

Resetting UserProfile has nothing to do with this missing feature.

I hope the feature can and will soon be implemented.
