Summary: Unsupported features saved to xlsx formatted file
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.2.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Opened xlsx formatted file on laptop from dropbox repository, made enhancements
to data including filters. Saved to xlsx format as prompted option. Then from
desktop using Excel 2016 tried to open file. Excel did not respond to double
click on file with extension xlsx. Had to open Excel and then local file and
open file. Was promted with message question if I wanted to recover file.
After first recovery file did not look right, so I performed task again, this
time saving with filters unapplied on laptop with LibreOffice Calc. Switched
to Excel 2016 on desktop, still did not open file on double-click, opened from
with in Excel session and was prompted for recovery again. Accepted recovered
data. Captured screenshots and error log.
