"indent per tab" is not ‘very convenient for beginners’ (Compare CCtabbed and DD.); rather, it'a bizarre, ill-conceived, unexpected complication of a very simple action: Go-to-tabStop My expectations? Hit a TabKey and get a filled tab from the beginning-of-line to the next tabStop, in any paragraph style.
