--- Comment #7 from Alex Thurgood <[email protected]> --- (In reply to steve from comment #6) > @Alex: do you still have an intel mac around? Are you planning on updating > to 13.1? @Steve: My Mac machines at work are all Arm Silicon (M1) now and Ventura 13.0.1. I have an old MacMini Intel at home for which I have just upgraded the memory, and installed ElementaryOS onto, as a replacement for the aging (and slow) version of MacOS that was running on it (High Sierra, I think). We will probably move to 13.1 on the work machines in a few days/weeks, after things have settled down. There have been some really annoying usability bugs in Finder, but we have learned to live with them. For the rest, I don't miss any particular software on aarch64. We had a pretty major issue with Oracle's VirtualBox not working on aarch64, which meant that I had to migrate some of my VMs to a dedicated Intel Linux machine instead, but that was fairly painless in the end. We don't use all the new fangled "functionality" that Apple deems is whiz-bang necessary in its latest releases, and we are not tightly integrated into an Apple environment (we have Android phones, a Windows PC, and a few RaspPis.), so are not as concerned when things don't work out of the box like they're supposed to ;-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
