Bug ID: 153067
Summary: LO 7.4.3: The DDE() function no longer returns
contents of the destination file
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.4.3.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
After update to LO 4.3, the DDE-function no longer returns the specified cell
content of the target file, e.g.
In file "d:\var\Temp\calc\file01.ods", "Table1.A1" the cell content is "DDE
element 1".
In file "d:\var\Temp\calc\file02.ods", "Table1.B1" file1.ods is accessed with
function "=DDE("soffice"; "D:\var\Temp\calc\file1.ods"; "Pos1.A1";0)".
Result in "file2.ods":
- LO 7.4.2: "DDE element 1".
- LO 7.4.3: ""
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create destination calc file, e.g. file1.ods
2. Write some Data to Table/Cell e.g. in "Table1.A1"
3. create test calc file, e.g. file2.ods
4. Set in a cell the DDE-function, e.g.
"=DDE("soffice";"file1.ods";"Table1.A1";0)
Actual Results:
LO 7.4.3: Instead of Data of target file/Table/Cell, nothing (sometimes #NV) is
shown
Expected Results:
LO 7.4.2: Data of target file/Table/Cell is shown
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
