The caller needs to be able to calculate the number of Unicode characters are represented by the final glyph in a sequence. An easy way to do this would be to fill in one further item in the pCharPosAry array. This will also have the effect of reducing by one the maximum number of glyphs in a sequence. It also means that any other GetNextGlyphs functions will need to do the same thing. As far as I can tell there is at present only one other such function GenericSalLayout::GetNextGlyphs But is it possible that there will be others in the future?
