Not sure about the size, if it's much too large email is an option or dropbox/google drive, etc.... When you look at computer use, are you seeing spikes in Memory use or CPU use? Also, was this a problem with 3.6 series? Is the document a .doc or native format? If it's a .doc, have you tested saving it as native format and seen same results? Marking as NEEDINFO, once you provide document and answer those couple question, mark as UNCONFIRMED and we will look into it.
