I found the following links. The first is how to launch Activity Monitor from
the Finder. The second is a section further down on the same webpage that
instructions for saving a sample file. It is a bit old, but the instructions
are still almost exactly the same on newer version of macOS:

The one change in newer versions of macOS is that the "Sample Process" toolbar
button has moved. Now there is a "..." toolbar button. Click on that button and
select "Sample Process" in the popup dialog that appears.

Once you obtain a sample and save it to a file, you can upload the file by
clicking on the "Add an attachment" link just above this bug's comments
section.
