CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

I study German and have spreadsheets written in 2 languages. The spellchecker
marks all my writing as erroneous and makes reading difficult. It is impossible
to switch it off.
I can format cells and set the language as German, but it is not stored after a
reboot.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a blank spreadsheet
2.Input a foreign text
3.Try to disable the spelchecker - it does not turn off

Actual Results:
All foreign text is marked as error

Expected Results:
When a user presses the spellchecker button, it should toggle on/off

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I can format cells and set the language as German, but it is not stored after a
reboot.
