            Bug ID: 154045
Summary: Upon updating my custon autocorrect completions, user
profile becomes corrupt and must be deleted in 7.5.1.2
for any autocorrect features to work even though file
                    valid.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.1.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I try to add new pairs of text > corrected to my autocorrect settings, but as
soon as I do that, though the autocorr file works admirably with a fresh user
profile, I need to delete my entire user profile/sometimes even the entire
autocorr presets folder (as I had to today) under share for any of my
autocorrect at all to work. Note that unmodified autocorrect files (built-in
English) not affected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to modify custom autocorr
2. User profile corrupted
3. Curse at the gods, try implanting the new autocorr file which will be fine
in your Google copy of a clean user profile overwriting old autocorr.dat,
download the user profile with the new autocorr.dat, overwrite the old user
profile with the new which usually does work, doesn't, repeat steps with older
versions of autocorr.dat and increasing chagrin, last-ditch delete the preset
autocorr in share in case of a conflict, redownload the clean user profile with
latest autocorr.dat
4. yay you fixed it but it took half an hour to an hour times ~four less severe
but still troublesome past repeats of the issue. you are in linguistics and you
have a worksheet due Thursday, no job but a full course load + obligations
