--- Comment #7 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #5) > No use case, no issue. I think perhaps you're referring to another bug? This is not a feature request. We are forcing users to do something they don't want, in order to then achieve something they do want. It is as though in order to draw a circle, you had to add draw a square, then change its shape in some properties menu. ... and actually, even worse, because if you have auto-preview enabled, you will also be treated to the animated sequence showing you exactly what you don't want to happen :-P > never merits the effort to start from scratch. I didn't suggest starting anything from scratch. I just want to be able to make a selection in the effect type list-box before adding the effect. There could of course be other UI changes to the animations sidebar, but this bug is not about that. I'll also clarify that, unlike Telesto, I'm not suggesting we remove the possibility of changing the effect type after addition - just that we allow it before addition. > And the OP agreed with the > proposed solution, call it workaround if you like. If you want to cancel the dupe relation to the bug I filed, we can continue the discussion there... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
