Stéphane Guillou (stragu) <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version|3.5.0 release |Inherited From OOo CC| |stephane.guillou@libreoffic | |e.org Summary|The ignore wrong spelled |Ignore wrong spelling is |setting is overruled, after |easily reverted / overruled |a correcting another word |by various actions (steps |(if next to each other) |in comment 12) --- Comment #12 from Stéphane Guillou (stragu) <[email protected]> --- I can confirm that it is very easy to revert the ignore action from the context menu, by using a variety of actions, on 5.4.0.3 as well as a recent trunk build. Building upon comment 11's steps: 1. New document with: "We have a beauriful dayr in town" 2. Right-click > Ignore "beauriful"; change something before "beauriful" (correct a word, remove a character, add a character...): ignore is reset 3. Ignore it again; change something in the word directly after it, "dayr" (correct it, remove a character, add a character...): ignore is reset 4. Ignore again; press Enter at the end of line: ignore is reset So I think that it can be summarised as: Ignore is reset if: a) The word right after is modified (in the same paragraph) b) Anything before it is modified (in the same paragraph; including pressing enter with the cursor at the beginning of the paragraph) c) A new paragraph is inserted at the end the paragraph Tested in: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 44837a12d12be3e525fa48b37c3dd2553cc97d94 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded In OOo 3.3, I could already see issue a), so marking as inherited even though it got sensibly worse along the way. Issue c) was introduced between 6.4.7.2 and 7.0.6.2, according to my tests. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
