Priority: medium
Bug ID: 63624
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Paste of folder_name copied from windows
explorer not working
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.2.2 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description: Paste of folder_name copied from windows explorer not
working with ctrl+v, crt+shift+v, ctrl+shift+alt+v
Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy a folder name from windows explorer (ex. Y:\DRU - Dep. Resurse
Umane\Recrutari Personal)
2. try to paste it
Current behavior:
Requested clipboard format is not available
Expected behavior:
Should paste Y:\DRU - Dep. Resurse Umane\Recrutari Personal as plain text
NOTE 1
I have pasted (Y:\DRU - Dep. Resurse Umane\Recrutari Personal) into Notepad,
copied it again from there and tried to paste it further into Writer, but I
received the same message!
NOTE 2
I have writen Y:\DRU - Dep. Resurse Umane\Recrutari Personal into writer,
copied it, paste it into Notepad, copied it again and paste it back into
Writer, and it did not work! Same message.
NOTE 3
I have done the same with other text (exxample: 2013.04.15 Persoane care au
fost la interviu.ods) and it doesn't work
NOTE 4
I have tried to paste this text that I am writing into this textbox and I
received the same message
Temporary solution:
I have created a untitled.txt file, opened with notepad, paste the info there,
then saved the file and opened it with Writer.
Inside Writer Copy/Paste still works.
This appears to be some serious bug, since I cannot paste plain text into
documents.
Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.2.2 release
