Bug ID: 154278
Summary: Widow-line suppression, even when turned off in all
possible ways, still in some situations invoked by
LibreOffice Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.4.6.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Screen-shot 0.bmp shows the version-number of LibreOffice, from Writer, using
"Help" and "About". However, the more established release 7.4.6.2 also shows
the same problem.
Screen-shot 1.bmp shows a text with the cursor at the start of a black
paragraph. Text-content and colors are irrelevant, used merely to make the
problem easy to see.
Screen-shot 2.bmp shows the text after "ENTER" has been pressed.
Screen-shot 3.bmp shows the text after "ENTER" has again been pressed.
Screen-shot 4.bmp shows the text after "BACKSPACE" has been pressed. Here is
the problem: widow-line suppression has been invoked, even though it has been
turned off in all possible ways. The text-situation persists, even if the
cursor is moved; however, if the document is saved and re-loaded, the
widow-line suppression disappears.
Screen-shot 5.bmp shows the text after "BACKSPACE" has again been pressed.
There is no longer a widow-line, so the situation is identical to screen-shot
1.bmp.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. See above
2.
3.
Actual Results:
See above
Expected Results:
No widow-line suppression.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Version 7.5.1.2
