Priority: medium
Bug ID: 63642
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Math formula looses custom font settings on save as
Flat XML
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.2.2 release
Component: filters and storage
Product: LibreOffice
If a formula has some customized font settings, then these settings are lost
upon saving the document as Flat XML. This happens both in documents (.fodt)
and in spreadsheets (.fods)
Steps to reproduce.
1. Create a new empty document.
2. Insert->Object->Formula...
3. Type "a"
4. Format->Fonts... See that Variables are set to Times New Roman, Italic
5. Modify->Variables
6. Select Arial -> Ok -> Ok
7. See that the font of the formula is changed.
8. Save as a .odt, close and reopen to check that the settings persist (enter
the formula and check the settings).
9. Save as a .fodt, close and reopen.
Expected results:
The font modifications should stay.
Actual results:
Initially the formula is shown correctly, but when opening it for editing, the
font changes to Times New Roman and the settings in Fonts dialog are back to
defaults. The initial correct display is possibly due to cached metafile of the
formula.
