In the View->Normal view (physical page emulation) with rulers enabled: A) In one model, all emulated physical pages having even a partial appearance in the document pane are expected to be rendered with associated rulers visually adjacent in full or part. B) In a second model, the existing behavior of only rulers for the active (by cursor placement) page are rendered. C) Something else. Let us say I as a user enable rulers in Normal view and the behavior does meet my expectations. Is this a bug or something I just do not understand. Hmmm... review the documentation at https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/swriter/guide/ruler.html?DbPAR=WRITER#bm_id8186284 which is silent on intended ruler view and rendering behavior (other than enable/disable menu choices). I suggest a documentation update indicating that rulers are only rendered for the active page would at least indicate intended behavior.
