Hi, thanks for getting back. And so fast!
Huh. I just selected the frame and dragged the image+caption. It depends on
what side you approach from. You cannot select it approaching from the right,
where I normally keep my mouse cursor. Other sides are OK.

>From the right border I always end up selecting-dragging the image, leaving the
caption behind, as indicated by the small blue squares on the border.

Another odd thing is that, with the frame unselected, I am able to edit the
caption text directly from the Writer interface. I would expect that to edit
the caption I would need to select the frame first, giving it focus.

I'm still not totally familiar with the Navigator but it's not acting as I'd
expect. I'd expect an item selected in Navigator would show it had focus -
small blue squares. Conversely, I'd expect a selected item to be highlighted in
Navigator. Currently, to identify something in Navigator I need to right click
it -> Properties -> Options -> Name, then use that to identify it in
Navigator.

Thanks again for everything. Now that I'm more familiar with Writer it's
becoming a easy & intuitive to use. I'm using it for university level notes and
really appreciate being able to focus on the information & clear presentation,
rather than the interface.

Cheers
