Hmm, not seeing an advantage or need to doing anything more for folks coming from MS Office Desktop apps, or their O365 cloud flavors. Specific behavior you describe is "anchoring", LibreOffice and ODF specs handle differently in UI and document structure to MS's implementation for OOXML.
