I repro without a graphics card, so I assume this wouldn't apply here, right? lp.allard, thanks for confirming you see something similar, although there might have been another source of slowdown somewhere. Regarding backward compatibility, developers try to make changes as backward-compatible as possible, so should be OK for your documents but I obviously cant guarantee that at 100%.
