          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 63691
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: CONFIGURATION: Feature request: template localization
                    on open/import
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.2.2 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:

In LibreOffice Writer, installed with American English as the default language,
the Mediawiki template loads with the German settings of the template's
creation. See "Expected Behavior" for suggestion on proposed feature to solve .
. .

Steps to reproduce:
1. File->New->Templates->Mediawiki
2. Type any text surrounded by quote marks. It uses German quote marks (with
the opening quote mark at the baseline, as opposed to up higher as in English),
I presume because this template was created by a German user?
3. To correct for English, open Styles (F11), right-click Default->Font tab,
set language for font as "American English (default)."

Current behavior:
Uses whatever language settings are built into a template (I don't know whether
"Font" is the only setting affected).

Expected behavior:
It would be great if there were a way to prompt the user whether to convert any
language settings in a template to their installed Default Language.
Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.2.2 release
