--- Comment #3 from [email protected] --- Created attachment 186393 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=186393&action=edit screenshot of TOC dialog (In reply to Dieter from comment #1) (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #2) Have attached screenshot of the situation that motivated the OP. If "Heading" is not selected, then "Additional Styles" are not really "Additional". And any PS (in Heading Numbering) can be affected (or ignored), depending on the selection in "Assign Styles". The word "Additional" is only meaningful, when Heading *is* selected, because selections in "Assign Styles" have no effect for the PS selected by "Heading" (i.e., only Additional styles are affected). > "Selected Styles" sounds to me as if checking "Outline" (now "Heading") > activates these styles in the dialog, or not. Maybe it sounds like that. But then dialog conventions would have "Additional Styles" indented 18px in relation to "Heading". (iow dialog guidelines should reduce that likely interpretation.) WF is fine with me. OP was probably motivated by the Telesto/Eyal preference/ideal of completely transparent UI. If someone is familiar with using the dialog, then the label (Styles, Selected Styles, Additional Styles) probably has little significance. The issue is only an issue if one is trying to use the dialog for the first time (and does not want to read the documentation). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
