I did however test the newest available FP version 11.35 (trial version) in a VM with LO 7.5.2.2 and it worked, the euro symbol was printed correctly to FP. So it seems a bug with FinePrint v6 (and possibly other older versions) and LO 7.x, I can understand that no development resources will be spent on that.
