("former" because the recent one is "docx"). Second file is Apple Works/Claris Works extension (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AppleWorks). Do you still reproduce this after the renaming? BTW, what's your precise version of macOS ? Also, just in case, could you rename your LO directory profile?
