We already offer a colour picker in the dropdown to change the colour, and the button uses the latest colour used. The "document colours" and "recent colours" palettes help you find your favourite ones. If you need this level of customisation (two buttons for the same function), you can use a marco or extensions. Heiko, has this been requested in the past? Same UNO command twice in the toolbar? Related to the form of the report: please use a more respectful tone. Those fields you criticise, although admittedly not as useful for enhancement requests, are actually very helpful when users report bugs (i.e. most people), so we know exactly what the problem is and help test and troubleshoot.
