I can only agree. My belief is that for LibreOffice to feel truly native on macOS the whole topmost application layer needs to be re-written for the Mac. Avoid all the horrors in the current cross-platform top-level code. I mean things like SVMain(), ImplSVMain(), etc. Write a "new" app from the top the "proper" way, using NSDocument etc, and then attach that to existing LO code suitably.
