--- Comment #14 from Stéphane Guillou (stragu)
<[email protected]> ---
Back in OOo 3.3, we had the horizontal alignment options pop up in the toolbar
while editing a text box, so I can see how it seemed lacking back then.

Since at least LO 5.2.0.4, we have the three vertical alignment options in:
- the Properties sidebar, automatically visible with the default UI
- Format > Align text menu
- the View > Toolbars > Text formatting sidebar too, if you want to make them
always visible.

That's plenty, and I don't think there's a need to add to the default toolbar.

Also tested in a recent master build:

Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 5cd9de202765e243e41416802f3e4486b8a96f16
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
